ALESSANDRO LANZONI TRIO

The pianist Alessandro Lanzoni has already developed an artistic personality that dedicated his talent to an ongoing musical pursuit. He played in the most important Italian festivals from a young age and his dedication brought him to play with prestigious musicians such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Lee Konitz, Aldo Romano, Roberto Gatto, Ralph Alessi, Jeff Ballard, Larry Granadier, Ambrose Akinmusire, Aaron Goldberg, Miguel Zenon, Michael Blake and many more.

The line-up is completed with the double bass player Matteo Bortone, Jazz Découverte of the French critique and the drummer Enrico Morello, now member from several years of Enrico Rava quartet. The repertoire of the concert will be based on original compositions of both Wendel and Lanzoni but there will be some time reserved to pieces that belong to the jazz tradition and moments of pure and free improvisation.
